Interview with my Mum

This is an interview with my mum, who has kindly put in some time to answer my questions. Well, here they are:

Question 1: What are your views on racial discrimination?
Answer: Racial discrimination is certainly not morally right. In my opinion, all humans should have equal rights, regardless of skin colour. Sad to say, racial discrimination is something that can never be completely eradicated from our society, as can be seen from the fact that racial discrimination is still rife up till today.

Question 2: Do you think there is any way that racial discrimination can come to an end?
Answer: As I have said earlier, there is no way that racial discrimination can be completely eradicated from our society. However, the efforts from various great leaders such as Marthin Luther King and Nelson Mandela have certainly contributed to making some people realise that racial discrimination should be condemned and for that, I have great respect for these leaders.

Interview with Jeremy Finch

Here is the interview transcript of the interviewer, Jeremy Ee, interviewing Jeremy Finch right after Tom Robinson was found guilty of rape:

Jeremy Ee: You have witnessed the Maycomb trial. What is your opinion on the final decision that Tom Robinson is guilty?

Jeremy Finch: It is wrong, absolutely wrong! I have never seen such a biased..

Jeremy Ee: Hang on! So you, unlike many others, feel that Tom Robinson should not be charged?

Jeremy Finch(angrily): Yes, certainly. There were so many loopholes in the Ewell's story, I simply cannot believe that the decision went their way! The Ewell's were evidently twisting the story to their favour!

Jeremy Ee: Yes, indeed, it did seem that way during the trial. So, do you think that there is a underlying reason for the jury favouring the Ewells'?

Jeremy Finch: Look around Maycomb, most people here are prejudice towards the blacks! Looking back now, there was simply no chance that the jury would favour Tom Robinson over the Ewells. It is just absolutely wrong! They should not even bother having a trial if that is the case *Sighs and shakes head*

Jeremy Ee: So, what are your opinions on racial biasedness?

Jeremy Finch: In my opinion, all humans are created equal, hence racial biasedness should not exist. I am disappointed and hurt beyond words by the horrible attitude towards blacks most of my neighbours have and I really pity all the blacks out there who have to withstand all these insults and biasedness from the whites. I really wish there is something I can do to help them..

Jeremy Ee: Indeed, so do I. Any last words before we end this interview?

Jeremy Finch: To all people out there reading this interview, I sincerely hope you wake up and realise the simple fact that we whites are no better, if not worse, than the blacks since we have this sort of inappropriate attitude towards them.

Multiple Intelligence test: Results

Hey one and all,
Deviating a teenie little bit from soccer, I am going to talk about what I have gained from this Multiple Intelligence test I took.
From the results of this test, I can conclude that I am a person who excels more in these areas: Kinaesthetic, Linguistic and Interpersonal. This comes as no surprise to me. After all, I feel that I excel in the area of sports and enjoy using physical movements to study. Also, I find that I can express my thoughts and views easily more often that not, hence explaining the fact that I am good in the area of Linguistics.
Lastly, I seem to have decent interpersonal skills. I find it easy to relate to others and can empathise with others. However, the fact that this is my strongest point still surprises me. Sometimes, I have to admit that I might go a little out of hand and start teasing others a little, and hence my surprise. However, I still think I am decent at interpersonal skills overall.
